In 1971 begon ik onder de naam Rapsody Productions met het boeken van artiesten. Dat deed ik vier jaar. Vijftig jaar later begon ik opnieuw onder deze naam, dat wil zeggen de Nederlandse variant daarvan. Dit keer geen artiesten, maar boeken in de hoofdrol. Na een zakelijke carrière begon ik rond 2010 te schrijven. Mijn eerste ervaringen hiermee motiveerden mij.
Tijdens de Corona periode begon ik aan 100 korte verhaaltjes uit mijn jeugd. In mei 2022 verschenen ze in het boek: "MIJN ONBEZORGDE JEUGD".
Door problemen met mijn gezondheid liep ik nogal vertraging op met het vervolg: "ZOEKTOCHT NAAR DE ONZIN". Dit boek komt in 2026 in de boekhandel.
Mijn derde boek speelt zich af in de tijd dat Indonesië nog Nederlands-Indië was. Ik ben met dit manuscript al jaren bezig. Het gaat over het leven van mijn vader, dat zich voor een belangrijk deel in Nederlands-Indië en Indonesië afspeelde.
Ik gaf het boek de titel: "EEN ECHTE INDISCHMAN", omdat mijn vader zich zo noemde. Uit dit boek ontstond mijn eerste audiovisuele productie: "DE REIS NAAR INDIË DIE 29 MAANDEN DUURDE". In 2026 zullen jullie van zowel het boek als de film hopelijk meer horen.

In 1971, I started booking artists under the name Rapsody Productions. I did that for four years. Fifty years later I started again under this name, that is to say the Dutch version of it. This time, no artists, but books in the lead role. After a business career, I star-ted writing around 2010. My first experiences with this motivated me.
During the coronavirus pandemic, I began writing 100 short stories from my childhood. These quickly found their way to paper. In May 2022, they were published in the book "MIJN ONBEZORGDE JEUGD".
Due to health problems, I was somewhat delayed with the sequel, "ZOEKTOCHT NAAR DE ONZIN."
The book will be available in 2026.
My third book is set in the time when Indonesia was still the Dutch East Indies. I've been working on it for years. It's about my father's life, which took place largely in the Dutch East Indies and Indonesia. I called the book "EEN ECHTE INDISCHMAN", after my father called himself that way. This book led to my first audiovisual production: "THE JOURNEY TO THE DUCHT EAST INDIES THAT LASTED 29 MONTHS." Hopefully, you'll hear more about both, the book and the film, in 2026.

En 1971, j'ai commencé à organiser des concerts sous le nom de Rapsody Productions. J'ai exercé cette activité pendant quatre ans. Cinquante ans plus tard, j'ai repris ce nom, mais cette fois en néerlandais. Cette fois, ce ne sont plus les artistes, mais les livres qui étaient au centre de l'attention. Après une carrière dans les affaires, je me suis mise à écrire vers 2010. Mes premières expériences dans ce domaine ont été une source de motivation. Pendant la pandémie de Covid, j'ai commencé d'écrire une centaine de nouvelles de mon enfance. En mai 2022, elles ont été publiées dans le livre "MIJN ONBEZORGDE JEUGD". Des problèmes de santé ont retardé la publication de la suite, "ZOEKTOCHT NAAR DE ONZIN".
Le livre sera disponible en librairie en 2026.Mon troisième livre se déroule à l'époque que l'Indonésie faisait encore aux Indes néerlandaises. J'ai travaille sur ce manuscrit depuis des années. Il raconte la vie de mon père, qui s'est déroulée en grande partie aux Indes néerlandaises et en Indonésie.
L'histoire est titré "EEN ECHTE INDISCHMAN", un homme d'orient, en hommage à l'appellation que mon père lui donnait. Ce livre a donné naissance à ma première production audiovisuelle: "Le voyage au des Indes néerlandais qui a duré 29 mois". Plus de information du livre et du film vient en 2026.
